The Saucony Endorphin Elite is the progression of the fan favorite super shoe. The new Endorphin Elite 2 does come with some updates that are noticeable from the original. The most immediate would be the inclusion of the IncrediRUN midsole. This foam is much more compliant and bouncy than the previous model. The shoe overall features enough changes up and down to be a completely new update that will be divisive, for some providing a worthy upgrade to the first model in terms of midsole excitement and for others a far less stable one which may offput some lovers of the first model which liked the combination of stable and energetic.

The Saucony Endorphin Elite 2 is a high-performance racing shoe engineered for competitive runners seeking exceptional energy return and cushioning during road races. Released in March 2025, it incorporates several advanced features:

Midsole and Cushioning:  The Endorphin Elite 2 utilizes Saucony's proprietary incrediRUN foam, a supercritical copolymer in the TPEE (Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer)  family. This material offers a soft, squishy feel with remarkable energy return, providing a responsive and comfortable ride.

Key Features 

Carbon Fiber Plate: Equipped with a full-length slotted carbon fiber plate, the shoe enhances rigidity and propulsion. The slotted design in the midfoot area allows for greater flexibility, contributing to a smooth and efficient transition from heel to toe.

Upper Construction: The upper is crafted from a lightweight, breathable woven mesh, ensuring a snug and secure fit. It features a flat-knit tongue and stretchy laces, allowing for a customized and comfortable lockdown during runs.
